Due to Covid-19, all classes, workshops, and performances will be conducted online until further notice.  The safety and well-being of our actors, students, and patrons is an absolute priority.  When it becomes safe to reunite, in person, we'll follow any and all state and local guidelines.  In the meantime, please know that we miss seeing you all and look forward to the day when we can all laugh together again!  If you're able, please continue to support our online classes and shows, to help us stay afloat until we can once again occupy our theatre space.

Be safe...and stay healthy!

Stand-Up Comedy Writers Round-Table

Sundays (5 weeks), January 3rd - January 31st.
Adult Class, 18 and over

This Workshop Is SOLD OUT!

OK…you know the basics of how to write jokes. You know how to recognize a set-up and a punch line. And, maybe you’ve done a few open mics.

So, you’re ready for the next phase of your stand-up journey. You want to be prepared with solid material for open mics and shows when the world reopens! Or, for online, in the meantime. This series of workshops will help to take you through the next stages of your development as a comedy writer.

This five week writer’s forum will provide a supportive and collaborative environment for you to work through your material. With the guidance of your instructor…and the input of your peers…you’ll get help writing, polishing, and organizing your bits into a cohesive set. More than just a workshop…it’s like meeting up and hanging out with a group of your writer friends.

This is not a level 100 comedy class. You should already be familiar with the basics of writing for stand-up comedy. You will be expected to write throughout this course.

The forum will be 5 weeks long…and run on Sundays, starting on January 3rd. Class time is 3:00pm to 4:30pm. Class size is very limited and is on a first-come-first-served basis. The cost for the five-week workshop is $75. Payment can be made with PayPal, Venmo, or credit card-by-phone. Please contact us for further information on registering:  Or, (315) 410-1962

Deadline to sign up is Friday, January 1st. All classes will be online, through Zoom. The instructor for this course is Jeff Kinsler (bio can be found here:
