Jamie has enjoyed acting and improvisation for over 20 years, while working as an artist as well as an art teacher. He was part of the long running improv team, “Shawn Cassidy Fan Club” while studying art at SUNY Oswego. Later, Jamie moved to NYC where he was part of a short lived improv team called the “Boomtown Players” (their run consisted of one performance...don’t ask.) Soon, Jamie found himself in Chicago with an experimental long-form improv team called “Razor Spirits.” For the last 3 years, he has been thrilled to be a part of Salt City Improv’s house team, Pork Pie Hat. Jamie is excited to be working with Jeff Kinsler and the talented gang at the Salt City Improv Theatre.
Crystal "Pistol" started performing at a young age in local musical theater productions. After a few years of constantly being cast as a part of the scenery (a fork, seaweed) she realized that she could not dance or sing. In 2011, Crystal stumbled upon the Salt City Improv Theatre and everything clicked. She has been performing with the house team, Pork Pie Hat, ever since. Crystal can also be seen performing with the theater's long form team, SkittleFit. In addition to her training at Salt City Improv, Crystal has received training at both UCB and The Pit in New York City. Crystal has not given up on singing and dancing and will often attempt to do one or the other in scenes. You have been warned.
